A DJ controller is already a wearable-scale interface — knobs, faders and jog wheels sized for human hands. Irene Park's fabrication project asked what happens when trim engineering treats the Pioneer XDJ-RX as a donor object for garment hardware.

The controller was taken apart conceptually — every knob, fader and jog wheel catalogued into trim-engineering reference sheets, the technical documentation becoming the project's design language.
The Craft
Gemini took the raw reference sheets and returned styled garment renders — technical documentation in, editorial visualization out — while 3D printing carried the components into physical prototypes.
Outcome
The move that makes it work: every DJ control becomes a real, manufacturable trim (snap-buttons, sliders, zipper pulls), not a printed picture of one. A compact AI-to-fabrication loop — reference sheets to styled render to printed part.
