Every session runs in the FRS lab, and you can arrive knowing nothing — that is the name of the series and it is meant literally. Dates are set by the lab and can move.
Turn a real object — a garment, a medal, a room — into a 3D file you can print or drop into a scene.
You leave with — A clean 3D scan of an object you brought with you, ready for the printer or for a scene.
Capture a real place on your phone in the morning and shoot a film inside it by the afternoon.
You leave with — A short cinematic sequence set inside a place you captured that morning, rendered and ready to show.
Carry one written idea, tool by tool, until it becomes a world you can stand inside.
You leave with — A world of your own — seed vision, concept art, motion, 3D and a standing environment — plus the prompt library that got you there.
Build a digital character with a face, a performance, and a body that walks — in one sitting.
You leave with — A rigged, animated glTF character you made yourself — a being that walks — plus the pipeline to run it again in your own classroom.
Describe the tool you wish existed, and leave with it built, deployed, and live on the web.
You leave with — A working web app of your own, deployed at a URL you can hand to a class the same week.
The catalogue is what the lab has run often enough to teach well. It is not the limit. If there is a tool you want to try, a class you would like a session built around, or only a half-formed thought about what might be possible, that is a conversation worth having — and it is how most of these workshops began.
