What it is
Bring something with you. In two hours it becomes a 3D file: captured with a phone, cleaned up, and handed on to whatever comes next — a printer, a render, a virtual fitting, a game engine.
We cover both ways in. LiDAR capture with Scaniverse is fast and forgiving and handles rooms and people; photogrammetry with Kiri Engine takes longer and rewards you with detail, which is why the Humanist Award medal — a clay relief the lab scanned for the Skin Tones project — went that route. Gaussian splatting is there for anyone who wants the photoreal version rather than the printable one. Then the unglamorous, decisive part: cleanup in Blender, and getting a file the printer will actually accept.
What you leave with
A clean 3D scan of an object you brought with you, ready for the printer or for a scene.
Who it is for
This one is open to FIT faculty and students alike. Set aside 2 hours.

Dates
Seat counts are the size of the room, not a live count of who has signed up — if a session has filled, it says so below. Dates are set by the lab and can move.

Want it for your class?
This one runs again whenever there is a room and a reason. If the dates above do not work, or you want it built around a course you are teaching, say so — and if what you are after is not in the catalogue at all, say that instead. Both start the same way.
