What it is
Faculty should not have to teach tools they have never touched. This session puts a complete AI character pipeline directly in your hands and does not stop at a portrait: you leave with a being that moves.
The chain runs end to end. Hedra makes the being's face and performance. ChatGPT drafts the T-pose body-scale reference that keeps the proportions honest. Meshy lifts that reference into a textured, riggable 3D body. Avaturn scans bring the people in the room into the cast, so the characters are recognisably yours. For anyone who wants to go further, a Blender-MCP bridge lets Claude drive Blender directly — the same setup the lab uses to prepare a character for 3D printing.
What you leave with
A rigged, animated glTF character you made yourself — a being that walks — plus the pipeline to run it again in your own classroom.
